How these articles are made

Who writes them

These articles are written and published by DinFit, which is published by Fantastic Online Stores Pty Ltd in Australia. No person signs them, so they carry no author's name, and they claim no qualification.

How a claim gets in

Every source is read first-hand, from the journal, guideline or organisation that published it, and recorded with the day it was read. Each claim names the study it comes from and describes what that study found, in our own words. Nothing is quoted.

Where a finding holds only for some people, such as young men or athletes, the page says so beside it. A number on these pages is a source's number.

What they have not had

They have not been reviewed by a dietitian, an exercise professional, a doctor or a religious scholar. They are desk research, checked against their sources.

How AI is used

The drafts are written with the help of AI. Every claim in them is then checked against its source, and every page is read in full by the person who runs DinFit before it is published.

What they never do

They give no medical advice, and they send anything clinical to a doctor. They make no religious rulings, such as who should fast or what breaks a fast. Fasting is never presented as a way to change your body.

If something is wrong

If you find a mistake, write to hello@dinfit.app. We correct the page, and the date it was updated moves.
